Brian Manson of Bounty Hunter and Scarlet Bandit was kind enough to update us on how the team has been doing and what is in its plans for 2005. He also included some photos, available at the link below. We thank Brian and team Bounty Hunter/Scarlet Bandit for their support.

Brian Manson was kind enough to fill
us in on what the team Checker, Schuck’s, and Kragen Bounty Hunter and Scarlet
Bandit have been up to lately. He also sent a few photos of the team’s rebuild
and preparation for the 2005 season. AllMonster.com thanks Brian and the entire
Bounty Hunter/Scarlet Bandit team for their time and support.
We’re in the middle of completely
stripping both trucks, rebuilding parts of them and then repainting everything
for the first of the year. Most teams are probably a little further along than
we are, mostly because we run all the way through November. Our last show was in
Redmond, Oregon on November 21, so the trucks didn’t actually get here until the
23. Here’s an explanation of the photos (click thumbnails for full-size images):
Outside of the shop, you can see two smaller trailers that we had to bring in to store some parts. It was getting pretty crowded inside with all we have going on. |
Here you can see some trick new motor plates we built in the machine shop being installed. |
This is Scarlet Bandit waiting to be attacked. As soon as Bounty Hunter is off to the painter they’ll start rebuilding it. You can see that the front shock tower has already been cut off. |
This is a fresh new motor for Bounty Hunter. We’ve gone to all 555 cubic inch motors instead of the old 572s. |
Along with a bunch of oil and supplies (thanks to Quaker State) you can see two new Bounty Hunter bodies ready for 2005. |
Another shot of the bodies, oil, and miscellaneous other stuff. |
That’s all for now. In addition to all
the changes, we have a new trailer on the way just after Christmas.
AllMonster.com thanks Brian Manson
and the entire CSK/2Xtreme Racing organization for their time and support.
